Description
The material
Cream bone at 10mm, each bead carved with a shallow relief that catches light rather than announcing itself. From a metre away it reads as a plain pale bracelet; up close it is clearly not.
What it is for
This is the piece for people who want the material and the craft without anything that reads as costume. It sits well next to a watch and it does not compete with a dress shirt. In lore, cream and white materials are the quiet end of the palette — worn for steadiness, not for display.
Craftsman’s note
Shallow relief on a 10mm bead is a test of nerve. Too deep and the bead weakens at the drill hole; too shallow and the pattern disappears once the piece is polished. The tolerance is well under a millimetre.
Wearing and care
Fits 6.5 to 7.5 inch on elastic. Same rule as all the pale pieces: wipe it weekly, keep hand cream out of the carving, and it will still look cream in five years rather than grey.
